Chalk Paint® Workshops
All workshops are held at Gaysha Contemporary Paint and Patten, 25 Bell Street, South Townsville.
Bookings are limited and must be paid in advance to secure your spot. Payment can be made in store, via credit card, Paypal or direct deposit.
The workroom is set up for you to view all the Chalk Paint®.
Introduction to Chalk Paint® - $99 (special offer worth $125)
Our Introduction Workshop covers the basics of the Annie Sloan Method and her signature two colour distressing. This is a beginner's course which will cover the following:
- One-colour clear wax look
- Two-colour distressed look dark wax
- Stencil Design
Bring one small piece of timber furniture to paint up in a color of your choice. Your piece should be no larger than a chair, something you can carry under one arm and take home in the backseat of your car.
There are limited numbers, so payment will secure your booking and no refunds.
All painting and wax equipment supplied, brushes and stencils for application use - these will be available for purchase with a 10% discount.
Come along and learn about the best paint in the world, you will be sure to love it.

Workshop commences at 10:00am and finishes around 2:30pm.

If you have completed our Introduction to Chalk Paint® Workshop and are now looking at exploring other Annie Sloan Products then this Workshop is sure to impress. No need to bring a thing just yourself as the workshop will supply a jewellery box or piece of artboard to practice the techniques on. This is a 4.5 hour workshop and you will learn to use Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, Decoupage, Gold size and Stencil Gilding to transfer images onto your pieces using a variety of techniques.
Workshop is from 10:00am -14:30pm and includes all supplies.

Clock Workshop - give yourself a little "Time Out" !
This is a great short class where you will paint a clock to be introduced to the wonderful world of Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan. All materials are supplied, including a craft wood clock. Just bring your imagination and a friend, and a glass of something, as light snacks are provided.

Kitchen Cupboard Makeover Workshop - $95.00

A classic kitchen is easy to achieve using a fabulous Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan colour and Soft Wax. Practical demonstration and paint, wax and stencil techniques are taught in this workshop to upstyle your kitchen cupboards to suit your individual taste.

A bit about Rose
My name is Rose Alexander and I am the creator of Gaysha Contemporary Paint and Pattern in Townsville. I have a love for painted furniture and enjoy transforming time worn pieces into beautiful personal treasures. I have a fine art degree from James Cook University and have been painting for over 20 years and it brings me much pleasure to be the Townsville Stockist for Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan.
